PGE is gradually implementing a New Central Billing System (System NCB). As part of this transition, customers will receive invoices with a new graphical design, intended to be more transparent and easier to read, featuring a clearer presentation of energy consumption.<\/p>\n
The most critical change for consumers is the introduction of a new individual bank account number assigned to each contract. Customers must ensure they use these updated details for all future payments. Additionally, PGE is introducing new customer identification numbers and invoice formatting.<\/p>\n
The nationwide rollout is occurring in stages, which may cause temporary delays in invoice generation and delivery in certain regions. PGE confirms that payment deadlines will be adjusted automatically to accommodate these delays, and customers receiving multiple bills simultaneously may request an installment plan.<\/p>\n
If a customer mistakenly sends a payment to an old account number, PGE will automatically transfer the funds to the correct account. However, all subsequent payments must be directed to the new number. PGE warns that scammers may attempt to exploit the transition; customers should verify all payment information via the official PGE eBOK portal and be aware that the company does not send SMS messages containing payment links.<\/p>\n
