CBA agents have detained three more suspects, including a former government agency employee and two former BGK foundation executives, over allegations of misusing state-owned company funds for political activities. <\/p>\n

New Round of Detentions<\/h4>\n

CBA agents executed a series of arrests on Wednesday morning targeting individuals linked to the Government Strategic Reserve Agency (RARS) scandal. The detainees include 36-year-old Pawe\u0142 P., a former RARS employee, alongside 52-year-old Renata K. and 42-year-old W\u0142odzimierz D., both former heads of the BGK foundation.<\/p>\n

The operations were conducted under the direct instruction of the Silesian branch of the National Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

Allegations of Political Misuse<\/h4>\n

Jacek Dobrzy\u0144ski, spokesperson for the Minister Coordinator of Special Services, stated there is reasonable suspicion that donations received by the foundation from state-owned companies were diverted from charitable purposes to fund political activities.<\/p>\n

Scope of the RARS Investigation<\/h4>\n

The multi-faceted investigation centers on allegations of abuse of power and dereliction of duty by RARS officials between 2021 and 2023. Charges involve improper procurement procedures that allegedly harmed the public interest.<\/p>\n

To date, 14 suspects have been issued a total of 33 criminal charges.
