The benefit amount is tied to the social pension, which rose to 1,978.49 PLN gross as of March 1, 2026. Depending on the assessed point total, seniors may receive between 40% and 220% of this figure.<\/p>\n
In practice, this means eligible seniors can receive monthly payments ranging from roughly 791 PLN to over 4,352 PLN. The scale ranges from 40% for those with 70\u201374 points up to 220% for those with 95\u2013100 points.<\/p>\n
The application process requires two distinct stages. First, applicants must apply to the Regional Disability Assessment Board (WZON) to determine their support needs and receive a point score based on their medical condition.<\/p>\n
Once a decision of at least 70 points is obtained from the WZON, the applicant must then submit a second application to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) for the actual disbursement of funds.
