Mokot\u00f3w police officers arrested a 34-year-old Sudanese national suspected of stealing multiple bicycles, including an electric model worth 12,000 PLN found concealed beneath a bed during a residential search. <\/p>\n

The Investigation and Arrest<\/h4>\n

Officers from the Mokot\u00f3w Property Crimes Unit identified a suspect responsible for a series of bicycle thefts in the area. Following reports of an electric bike stolen from Tyniecka Street, police tracked the individual to a specific apartment.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived at the premises, occupants refused to answer despite audible activity inside. Firefighters were called to assist with an entry through an open window, at which point the occupants finally opened the door.<\/p>\n

Recovery of Stolen Property<\/h4>\n

Police apprehended a 34-year-old Sudanese citizen inside the flat. During a search of the residence, they discovered an electric bicycle hidden under a bed; frame number verification confirmed it was the bike stolen days earlier from Mokot\u00f3w.<\/p>\n

Criminal Charges Filed<\/h4>\n

Investigators linked the suspect to two separate thefts: a non-secured bike worth 8,500 PLN stolen near a store on Pu\u0142awska Street, and the 12,000 PLN electric bike taken from Tyniecka Street. The recovered property will be returned to its owner.<\/p>\n
