The National Health Fund (NFZ) has filed a formal notification regarding Dr. Emil J\u0119drzejewski following an audit of the General and Proctological Surgery Department at Warsaw’s Southern Hospital.<\/p>\n

The NFZ investigation concluded that the department erroneously settled medical procedures, specifically mislabeling “medium” endoscopic procedures as more expensive “major” endoscopic procedures for inflammatory bowel diseases.<\/p>\n
The audit revealed that over 130 patients were treated under these inflated billing classifications, resulting in an overpayment of 1.1 million PLN to the department managed by Dr. J\u0119drzejewski.<\/p>\n
Dr. J\u0119drzejewski, an informant for Kana\u0142u Zero regarding Southern Hospital, was questioned as a witness in June regarding his previous statements about medical malpractice and patient deaths at the hospital’s emergency department.<\/p>\n
Separately, the Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office is conducting two investigations into the hospital involving allegations of fraud exceeding half a million PLN and abuse of power.
