Law and Justice parliamentarians face accusations of failing to make mandatory monthly party contributions, exposing deep internal divisions over association memberships and loyalty to party leadership. <\/p>\n
This concerns the monthly payments that Law and Justice demanded from its MPs, senators, and MEPs in September 2024 after the party lost part of its budget funds due to a decision by the National Electoral Commission. The group’s parliamentarians were to start paying a minimum of 1,000 zlotys per month, and MEPs a minimum of 5,000 zlotys.<\/p>\n
Authorities illegally and unlawfully deprived us of 46 million zlotys that were owed to us, which causes us to have serious difficulties today, Jaroslaw Kaczynski said at the time.<\/p>\n
According to a list obtained by Fakt, some party members have serious payment arrears. Among them are MEP Michal Dworczyk, who allegedly owes the party 97,000 zlotys, and another PiS representative in the EP, Waldemar Buda (85,000 zlotys). Former government spokesman of Morawiecki and also MEP Piotr Muller likely failed to pay 58,500 zlotys.<\/p>\n
The list obtained by the daily also includes Olga Semeniuk-Patkowska (23,000), Miroslawa Stachowiak-Rozecka (20,000), and Krzysztof Kubow (2,000).<\/p>\n
Some members of Morawiecki’s association deny the truthfulness of these data. According to Piotr Muller, these figures do not include contributions to Karol Nawrocki’s committee and payments on behalf of PiS to the European Conservatives and Reformists. PiS MP Krzysztof Kubow claims in an interview with Fakt that he does not owe a single zloty.<\/p>\n
Oddly enough, these numbers only concern members of the Rozwoj Plus association, and data concerning all politicians of the party should be disclosed, the newspaper quotes the opinion of unnamed supporters of Morawiecki.<\/p>\n

PiS spokesman Rafal Bochenek informed on the X platform on Tuesday that the party’s political committee will meet next week to make decisions regarding the approval of parliamentarians’ declarations on their membership in the group.<\/p>\n
On the same day, former prime minister and founder of the Rozwoj Plus association Mateusz Morawiecki issued a statement indicating that PiS politicians should reach various target groups and do not have to speak the same language.
