According to information from Ukrainska Pravda, Fedorow received a proposal from the President of Ukraine to remain in state administration in a position related to technology development. However, the former minister argued that implementing his strategy to stop Russia would be impossible without real authority, which he believes only the Ministry of Defense provides.<\/p>\n
Citing a military source, Ukrainska Pravda reported that Fedorow argued to Zelensky that following the appointment of Mykhailo Drapatyi as the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the existing Ministry of Defense team could immediately begin joint work on transforming the Defense Forces. Conversely, appointing a new person to the ministerial post would mean spending many months building a team and getting acquainted with the ministry’s operations.<\/p>\n
