The Karpacz Economic Forum serves as a European platform for dialogue. This year’s edition runs under the motto “Architecture of a new order \u2013 stability in times of change,” reflecting the scale of challenges faced today by Europe and the world.<\/p>\n
Facing growing geopolitical tensions\u2014the war in Ukraine, conflicts in the Middle East, and shifting power dynamics on the international stage\u2014states and international organizations are seeking new mechanisms to ensure security, resilience, and stable development.<\/p>\n
This theme will form the axis of the 35th Economic Forum in Karpacz, scheduled for September 8\u201310, though the agenda for debates and meetings will be much broader.<\/p>\n
Special guests at the conference will include prominent experts and opinion leaders from around the world. Attendees in Karpacz will include Mads Nissen, multiple World Press Photo winner, whose award-winning photographs will be featured in a special exhibition.<\/p>\n
The event will also feature American geopoliticist and publicist Hal Brands, a professor at Johns Hopkins University and Bloomberg Opinion commentator.<\/p>\n
Speeches by Prof. Nicole Alexander, former global marketing director at Meta and current faculty member at Columbia University and New York University, will focus on new technologies and artificial intelligence. Italian journalist Emilio Cozzi, head of the space economy section at “Forbes Italia,” will speak on the future of the space industry and space geopolitics.<\/p>\n
Additional speakers include Sera Koulabdara, CEO of Legacies of War; Prof. Dirk Oschmann, author of a bestseller on contemporary social divisions in Germany; and Prof. Asim Khwaja from the Harvard Kennedy School, who will present development prospects at the intersection of artificial intelligence and quantum technologies.<\/p>\n
The conference program includes over 500 substantive events centered around several thematic areas, such as the AI Forum, Digitalization Forum, Health Protection Forum, Regions Forum, Poland-Czechia Forum, Poland-China Forum, Economy, International Politics and Security, Society, and Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n
The previous edition of the Health Protection Forum drew over 750 sector representatives from Poland, Europe, and the USA, while the Regions Forum gathered more than 1,000 local government representatives.<\/p>\n
The conference serves as a venue for debates involving over 500 experts from more than 150 universities and research institutes seeking innovative answers to future challenges. The program will also feature presentations such as the SGH and Economic Forum Report, which traditionally opens the event, with the Warsaw School of Economics serving as the main substantive partner of the forum.<\/p>\n
The Karpacz Economic Forum acts not only as a space for exchanging views and debates but also as a networking event. Last year, it was co-created by 355 partners, including 146 business partners and 110 institutional partners.<\/p>\n
Organizers emphasize that the forum is the largest and most important international socio-economic conference in Central Europe, visited annually by over 6,000 guests from around 60 countries. For more than three decades, the forum has provided a key platform for dialogue among leaders in politics, business, science, and culture.<\/p>\n
Registration dynamics indicate that the Karpacz Economic Forum will once again break guest attendance records this year.
