President Karol Nawrocki will receive the oath of office from Constitutional Tribunal judge S\u0142awomir Patyra on Tuesday, July 28, alongside appointing new Supreme Court judges and court assessors. <\/p>\n
Head of the Chancellery of the President Zbigniew Bogucki announced on Wednesday that on Tuesday, July 28, President Karol Nawrocki will receive the oath from S\u0142awomir Patyra, who was elected by the Sejm in June as a judge of the Constitutional Tribunal.<\/p>\n
Bogucki wrote on the platform X that the president will act pursuant to Article 4, paragraph 1 of the Act on the Status of Judges of the Constitutional Tribunal.<\/p>\n
The head of the Chancellery of the President added that the president will hand over appointments to four new Supreme Court judges on the same day.<\/p>\n
Bogucki also stated that next week the president plans to appoint 211 district court assessors and 18 provincial administrative court assessors.<\/p>\n
In June of this year, the Sejm elected S\u0142awomir Patyra to replace judge Andrzej Zielonacki, whose nine-year term was ending. At the beginning of July, Patyra sent a letter to President Nawrocki requesting the scheduling of his oath date to signal his readiness to establish an employment relationship at the Tribunal, followed by a subsequent letter.<\/p>\n
