Thick clouds of smoke are rising over the capital as a car workshop and a connected car showroom burn in Warsaw’s Targ\u00f3wek district. Aspirant \u0141ukasz Wujek from the press team of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Warsaw reported that 45 fire brigades are working at the scene.<\/p>\n
Aspirant Wujek stated that the report regarding the fire was received on Thursday at 5:09 AM. Upon arriving at the scene, it turned out that a workshop and an attached car showroom measuring approximately 80 by 40 meters were on fire, while the source of the fire has not yet been located.<\/p>\n
Among the firefighters involved in the firefighting operation are a specialized chemical rescue group, aerial platforms, and reconnaissance drones. Aspirant Wujek noted that the cause of the fire is currently unknown, and the flames also affected some cars parked next to the showroom.<\/p>\n
The firefighter confirmed that no evacuation of any persons was required and there are no reports of injuries. When asked how much longer the operation might take, he replied that it will certainly last for several more hours.<\/p>\n
The capital’s police reported on the X platform that officers are securing the area around Krasnobrodzka Street, where rescue and firefighting operations are being conducted. They appealed to residents to follow the instructions of emergency services and not to approach the fire site.<\/p>\n
Vehicle traffic on the nearby section of the S8 route is running normally.
