The massive shock began the previous Friday, following a Thursday midnight deadline set by the PiS leadership for members to sign a declaration confirming non-membership in associations with political activities under threat of expulsion, specifically targeting Morawiecki’s group.<\/p>\n
After politicians failed to sign the loyalty pledge, PiS leader Jaros\u0142aw Kaczy\u0144ski stated that the group had relinquished their party membership by refusing to sign, with the Political Committee scheduling a vote to approve these decisions on Tuesday at 5:00 PM.<\/p>\n
