The end of the week brings exceptionally difficult weather conditions. Forecasters warn not only of very high temperatures, but also of violent storms that may appear in many regions of the country. It is worth checking where the situation will be most dangerous and how long the alerts will last.<\/p>\n
Friday will be marked by high temperatures and variable weather. In the south and south-east of the country, it will be sunny and dry, while in other regions, occasional rain showers and thunderstorms will begin to appear from the afternoon. In the evening, hail is also possible in places. The temperature will range from about 28 degrees in Pomerania to even 36 degrees Celsius in the centre of the country.<\/p>\n
The night from Friday to Saturday will also bring rain and storms to a significant area of Poland. The highest rainfall is forecast in the belt from Warmia and Mazury through Kuyavia to the Lubusz region, where up to 40 mm of rain may fall. In the west of the country, wind gusts may reach about 100 km\/h.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, residents of south-eastern Poland can expect the nicest weather. In the remaining regions, heavy cloud cover, periodic rainfall, and thunderstorms will persist, locally with hail. The temperature will range from 23 to 27 degrees Celsius in the north and west to 35 degrees Celsius in the south-east. By the sea, it will be significantly cooler, from 18 to 22 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n
The most difficult situation prevails in the east and centre of the country. Third-degree warnings are in effect throughout the entire \u015awi\u0119tokrzyskie and Lublin voivodeships. They also cover a significant part of the Lubusz, Lower Silesian, Greater Poland, Lesser Poland, Subcarpathian, and Masovian voivodeships. In these regions, daytime temperatures may range from 30 to even 37 degrees Celsius. Relief will also be hard to find after dark, as IMGW forecasts tropical nights with temperatures remaining between 18 and 23 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n
A slightly milder, though still very demanding situation awaits residents of voivodeships covered by orange alerts. Second-degree warnings have been issued for the Kuyavian-Pomeranian, \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Opole, and Silesian voivodeships. They also cover parts of the Lower Silesian, Lubusz, Greater Poland, West Pomeranian, Pomeranian, Warmian-Masurian, Podlaskie, Masovian, Lesser Poland, and Subcarpathian voivodeships.<\/p>\n
High temperatures in parts of the country will also be accompanied by violent atmospheric phenomena. IMGW has issued yellow storm warnings for parts of the Warmian-Masurian, Podlaskie, Masovian, and Lublin voivodeships. The greatest storm activity can be expected between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
