The Operational Command of the Armed Forces reported that during the night from Wednesday to Thursday, amid a Russian attack on Ukraine, an unidentified object was detected in Polish airspace. An F-16 fighter jet was dispatched to identify and intercept it, but the object disappeared from radars. A Mi-24 helicopter was then deployed, and its crew found a crater from a missile impact near the village of Tarnawa-Kolonia in the Lublin Voivodeship, approximately 100 km from the border with Ukraine.<\/p>\n

He also analyzed the size of the 10-meter crater, noting that it perfectly matches the impact and detonation of a 400\u2013450 kg warhead carried by such powerful cruise missiles.<\/p>\n
Lieutenant Colonel Jacek Goryszewski, spokesperson for the Operational Command of the Armed Forces, explained on Thursday, July 30, that the military must follow peacetime regulations.
