W\u0142odzimierz Czarzasty was a guest of Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz on the TVP Info program “Pytanie dnia” on Thursday, July 30. One of the topics discussed was the split in PiS, which the speaker assessed as no concern to him. However, the politician drew attention to another problem he observed among certain party members.<\/p>\n
Czarzasty claims that he was called a “pig” and a “rag” in the Sejm. He stated that politicians from the democratic side heard remarks such as “there goes a pig, there goes a rag, that red rag, that such rag.” The color red in this case refers to the politician’s past activity as a member of the PZPR, a fact which political opponents use to portray him as a symbol of continuity with the former communist system.<\/p>\n

The Regional Court in \u015awidnica sentenced Przemys\u0142aw L. to 25 years in prison in March. The charges included rape, pedophilia, and zoophilia. His wife was accused shortly after and non-finally convicted of eight crimes, seven of which concerned animal abuse in the form of zoophilia. Evidence in the case included recordings of acts involving animals published on the darknet, which also depicted the woman herself, according to Wyborcza.pl. The eighth charge concerned failure to render assistance to one of the victims.<\/p>\n
The woman claims she is innocent, while the Regional Court in \u015awidnica sentenced her to 6.5 years in prison. The case will be decided by an appellate court because the prosecutor’s office appealed the verdict, claiming it was “too lenient.”<\/p>\n
Media reports appeared regarding the party affiliation of the convicted woman, who was a member of the Civic Platform. Social media posts published photographs showing the woman in the company of Deputy Sejm Speaker Monika Wielichowska. Wielichowska strongly denied any connections to the woman convicted in the K\u0142odzko pedophile scandal and described attempts to link her to the matter as a political manhunt.<\/p>\n
The female politician emphasized that she had no private or professional contact with the convicted woman, denying that she ever served as an assistant, employee, or collaborator of her parliamentary office.
