A 48-year-old woman in Poland has been charged with national discrimination after physically assaulting a Ukrainian driver who refused to stop at a store during a ride. <\/p>\n
The 48-year-old woman has certainly come to regret her outburst of aggression and the attack on the Ukrainian driver. The woman has been charged with discrimination based on national origin and faces up to five years in prison.<\/p>\n
However, this is not the end of her troubles. Because a child was present with the woman at the time of the attack, the family court will examine the child’s situation, according to the Silesian Police.<\/p>\n
The 48-year-old Polish woman will remember this ride for a long time. Since Thursday, a video has been circulating online showing that the woman failed to keep her negative emotions in check and took out her frustrations on the Ukrainian driver who was transporting her and her child.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the recording, officers managed to reach the attacked driver, and law enforcement took his crime report. According to the Silesian police, the woman flew into a rage because the driver refused to stop at a shop, at which point the 48-year-old struck the Ukrainian transport worker in the head.<\/p>\n
The police did not even have to search for the suspect, as the woman turned herself in. The 48-year-old attacker was detained and brought to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Cz\u0119stochowa, where she was charged with discrimination based on national origin, carrying a potential sentence of up to 5 years in prison.<\/p>\n
The woman was placed under police supervision, required to post a financial bail, and issued a restraining order to stay away from the victim.<\/p>\n
