A 31-year-old man died on Friday evening, July 31, after losing his balance and falling from a low wall onto a parking ramp at Plac Defilad in Warsaw. <\/p>\n
The incident occurred on Friday, July 31, at around 8:00 PM at Plac Defilad in front of the Palace of Culture and Science. According to Miejski Reporter, a 31-year-old man climbed onto a low wall near the ramp leading to an unopened underground garage.<\/p>\n
Junior Aspirant Jakub Gontarek of the metropolitan police stated that the 31-year-old man climbed onto the wall on the grounds of the Palace of Culture and Science, lost his balance, and fell onto the underground garage ramp. Emergency services were called to the scene, but despite resuscitation efforts, the man’s life could not be saved.<\/p>\n
Police confirmed that the man was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the tragedy, according to TVP Info. Miejski Reporter reported that the 31-year-old was not alone at Plac Defilad and was accompanied by friends. Metropolitan police officers conducted operations at the scene under the supervision of a prosecutor to determine the exact sequence of events. Witnesses to the accident were also questioned.<\/p>\n
