Anyone who has ever filled an annual e-prescription knows the problem: you buy the first pack of medication at a pharmacy close to home, and you must return to that exact same location for subsequent packs, regardless of travel, relocation, or stock shortages. Fortunately, this burdensome obligation is now a thing of the past.<\/p>\n
The e-Health Center has implemented a long-awaited functionality that has completely transformed the process of purchasing medications. Patients have gained full freedom, as every e-prescription can now be continued and completed at any pharmacy across the entire country.<\/p>\n
Until now, the rules were strict: starting an e-prescription for multiple packages at a specific facility meant being tied to it for the remainder of the medication. This applied mainly to long-term prescriptions, such as popular annual ones.<\/p>\n
The new solution has abolished this monopoly. Today, every subsequent package of medication from a given prescription can be easily collected at a different pharmacy, provided both facilities use the new e-health system where the pharmacist can see the previous dispensing history.<\/p>\n
The rollout of the new service ran smoothly. Residents of Kalisz and \u0141\u00f3d\u017a were the first to benefit from the functionality, and shortly afterward, the solution was rolled out to pharmacies throughout Poland.<\/p>\n
