At 5:35 PM, the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in P\u0142o\u0144sk received a report regarding the need to secure a landing site for the Medical Air Rescue helicopter. Two units were dispatched to the scene: firefighters from the Joniec Voluntary Fire Department and the P\u0142o\u0144sk State Fire Service.<\/p>\n
Upon the rescuers’ arrival, it turned out that assistance was needed by the 6-year-old boy who had fallen into the bonfire. Since the emergency medical team had not yet arrived, the firefighters immediately began providing the child with qualified first aid.<\/p>\n
The boy suffered severe burns. After initial treatment, he was handed over to the Medical Air Rescue crew and subsequently transported by helicopter to a specialized hospital in Warsaw.<\/p>\n
Firefighters also secured the landing and takeoff site for the helicopter. The entire operation lasted one hour and forty minutes, while the causes and circumstances of this unfortunate accident remain unknown.<\/p>\n
