Iranian press agencies Tasnim and Fars reported on Saturday that Tehran threatened retaliation and strikes against critical infrastructure facilities in Israel and Gulf countries. “The US must be aware that globally important energy facilities in Saudi Arabia and Qatar are within the range of Iranian missiles,” the Fars agency wrote, also mentioning facilities in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n
“There is a comprehensive counterattack plan,” stated Tasnim, citing a high-ranking Iranian security official. According to the agency, the Iranian military has already demonstrated that it possesses the capability and determination to carry out counterattacks.<\/p>\n
