On Sunday, PiS Vice-President Przemys\u0142aw Czarnek commented on the platform X, stating that such situations show the state must have effective tools to protect its citizens. “In Poland, every guest must abide by our rules and respect our law. Whoever breaks them and threatens the safety of Poles must face the consequences,” Czarnek wrote.<\/p>\n
“Tusk and Czarzasty are silent. They are still keeping the draft bill I presented in mid-April frozen in the drawer. Its adoption would allow the effective deportation of individuals who do not respect the law. We must not wait idly for further tragedies. The safety of Poles must be a priority,” the PiS politician added.<\/p>\n
His post was addressed by MSWiA spokesperson Karolina Ga\u0142ecka, who wrote that the Ukrainian citizen was detained immediately after the attack, and foreigners who break the law “are promptly deported.”<\/p>\n
“In 2025 alone, we deported over 10,000 people, whereas during your time in power you only deported 2-3 thousand people annually. Are you making jokes with this post? Meaning you ruled for 8 years and today you claim that the only problem is the April bill?” Ga\u0142ecka wrote.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred around 9 PM on Gagarina Street in Wroc\u0142aw’s Muchob\u00f3r housing estate. According to police accounts, the woman was attacked with a knife by an 18-year-old man. She is 30 years old and remains in the hospital in a life-threatening condition. The perpetrator was apprehended by police right after the event.<\/p>\n
Police reported that the 18-year-old male is a Ukrainian citizen, and the victim is a Polish woman. The man is suspected of attempted murder. According to local media, the attack took place in the stairwell of an apartment building.<\/p>\n
