The explosion in Moscow occurred on Saturday at around 8:00 PM Polish time inside an Italian restaurant named Balzi Rossi. A private party for approximately 50 people was taking place there. Unofficial information indicates it could have been a birthday banquet for Russian General Alexander Chaiko, who was appointed commander-in-chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces by Vladimir Putin in May. On July 27, the military officer turned 55. Media outlets recall that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the general commanded troops suspected of war crimes in Bucha.<\/p>\n

According to Viorstka, the 25-year-old daughter of the Russian general may be listed among the injured as “Maria P.”, which may stem from the surname “Peredriy” belonging to her 27-year-old husband, Daniil Peredriy. According to some information, he was also wounded in the attack at the Moscow restaurant.<\/p>\n
According to Russian media, Maria Chaiko suffered an open head injury. Her health status is unknown. The fact that “Maria P.” is indeed the daughter of Alexander Chaiko is allegedly indicated by, among other things, matching dates of birth and addresses.
