Russian leader Vladimir Putin appointed Denis Lyamin on Wednesday as the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, a newly formed military formation responsible for warfare against Ukraine using drones.<\/p>\n
Lyamin previously served as the chief of staff of the “Center” group of Russian forces fighting in Ukraine. He graduated from the higher armored forces command school in Chelyabinsk and has experience in the ground forces.
