Before the cooling arrives, however, many regions face a dangerous mix of extreme temperatures and violent storms. Third-degree heat warnings are in effect in the Lublin, Subcarpathian, \u015awi\u0119tokrzyskie, \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Silesian, and Opole voivodeships. The highest alert level also covers parts of the Podlaskie, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Masovian, Lower Silesian, Lubusz, and Lesser Poland voivodeships. The warnings remain in force until Thursday at 8:00 PM, with daytime temperatures in the highest-risk regions reaching from 33 up to 38 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n
Second-degree heatwave warnings cover parts of the Podlaskie, Masovian, Greater Poland, Lubusz, Lower Silesian, and Lesser Poland voivodeships. These also remain in effect until Thursday at 8:00 PM. The Government Centre for Security sent a message regarding storms forecasted for August 6 and 7, warning of strong winds, heavy rainfall, and potential power outages. The RCB also appealed to avoid open spaces during severe weather. During the night in the south, southeast, and east of the country, there will be passing rainfall and thunderstorms, locally accompanied by hail. Light rain may also appear over the sea. During the storms, 25 to 40 millimeters of rain will fall, and wind gusts may reach 90 km\/h. Minimum temperatures will range from 12 degrees Celsius locally in Pomerania, through about 17 degrees Celsius in the center, to 21 degrees Celsius in the southeast.<\/p>\n
On Friday, most of the country will see small to moderate cloud cover. More clouds will persist in the south, southeast, and east, where passing rain, thunderstorms, and local hail remain possible. Minor precipitation may also occur in the north. During Friday’s storms, total rainfall will reach 20 to 35 millimeters, and winds may speed up to 75 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures will reach 18 to 21 degrees Celsius in Pomerania, about 24 degrees Celsius in the center, and 27 degrees Celsius in the far southeast.
