A new United Surveys poll reveals that nearly half of respondents consider Aleksander Kwa\u015bniewski the best Polish president since 1989, while incumbent Andrzej Duda registers marginal support across various electorates. <\/p>\n
A survey conducted by United Surveys for Wirtualna Polski shows that nearly half of respondents (44.7 percent) recognize Aleksander Kwa\u015bniewski as the best Polish president after 1989. Subsequent positions were taken by Lech Kaczy\u0144ski, indicated by 14.2 percent of respondents, and Karol Nawrocki with a result of 12.3 percent. Further down the list were Bronis\u0142aw Komorowski (5.3 percent), Andrzej Duda (2.1 percent), Lech Wa\u0142\u0119sa (0.3 percent), and Wojciech Jaruzelski, who was indicated by 0.1 percent of respondents. The response that none of the politicians who have held this office so far deserve distinction was chosen by 8.1 percent of participants, while 12.9 percent refrained from expressing an opinion.<\/p>\n
Kwa\u015bniewski is the decisive leader among supporters of the current ruling camp’s party, with 76 percent of individuals from this group backing him. Komorowski obtained 9 percent of indications in this electorate, while 1 percent of votes each went to Wa\u0142\u0119sa and Kaczy\u0144ski. The same proportion of people considered that the title does not belong to any of the politicians.<\/p>\n
Voters of opposition formations (PiS, Razem, Konfederacja, and Confederation of the Polish Crown) split their votes evenly between Aleksander Kwa\u015bniewski, Lech Kaczy\u0144ski, and Karol Nawrocki, with each receiving 25 percent of indications in this group. Andrzej Duda obtained a surprisingly low result, as he was chosen by 2 percent of respondents from this group.<\/p>\n
Considering strictly sympathizers of both Konfederacja factions, the highest percentage of people claim that none of the presidents deserve this title (27 percent), and 8 percent gave the response “hard to say.” Kwa\u015bniewski and Nawrocki each gained 22 percent, slightly less with 19 percent went to Lech Kaczy\u0144ski, and Andrzej Duda again received low support at 2 percent.<\/p>\n
