According to Ukrainian data, the death toll in Bucha reached over 450 people, with some residents still considered missing. Investigations and witness accounts confirm that the victims were not only killed but also tortured.<\/p>\n
Many residents died at the hands of Russian soldiers, who allegedly committed rapes and executions without reason. Russian politicians and media at the time accused Ukrainians of provocation and blamed the crimes on the Ukrainian army.<\/p>\n
