Polish courts have upheld a 10-year Schengen entry ban and the deportation of patostreamer Vladyslav O., known as Crawly, following concerns raised by the Internal Security Agency regarding potential espionage activities and public order violations. <\/p>\n
In November 2024, patostreamer Vladyslav O., known online as “Crawly”, was deported to Ukraine by decision of the Minister of Interior and Administration following a request from the head of the Internal Security Agency (ABW). A 10-year ban on re-entering the Schengen area was also issued against him.<\/p>\n
Crawly decided to appeal the decision, but his complaint was dismissed first by the Voivodeship Administrative Court in Warsaw and subsequently by the Supreme Administrative Court. Both courts reviewed classified material presented by the ABW, with the Supreme Administrative Court stating it found no grounds to negate the lower court’s stance, as announced by the ABW on Monday, August 10.<\/p>\n
The court noted that concerns regarding potential espionage activities were sufficiently demonstrated by the relevant authorities. The justification emphasized that the ABW chief’s request stemmed from observing the foreigner’s behavior, a lack of respect for host country rules, and determinations that his actions could lead to the disclosure of sensitive information concerning the security of Poland and its citizens.<\/p>\n
The court also stated that recording controversial, staged events that breach public order and publishing them on social media justifies categorizing such activity under Article 329a of the Act on Foreigners. This is because such actions can potentially reveal the forces, resources, methods, and response times of public order services.<\/p>\n
Crawly published a video showing himself jumping on cars in a parking lot in the center of the capital. It turned out the patostreamer had staged the entire situation, and the vehicles were brought in on tow trucks. During the incident, involving his fans, Crawly sprayed a passerby with a fire extinguisher when the individual complained.<\/p>\n
Crawly is also known for videos showing him dressed in a gnome costume trespassing in restricted employee-only areas of shopping malls. During one stream, he allegedly stated that Poles are “f…ing cuckolds” and that he would rather live in Moscow. These remarks drew the attention of the Center for Monitoring Racist and Xenophobic Behavior, which filed a notification with the prosecutor’s office. According to the center, Crawly is a Belarusian patostreamer who attended a Ukrainian school.<\/p>\n
Jacek Dobrzy\u0144ski, spokesperson for the minister coordinator of special services, emphasized at a conference that Poles are a hospitable nation and tolerate everyone except those attempting to break Polish law.
