PiS announced it is submitting a formal request to the Central Anticorruption Bureau to investigate the flood relief fund allocation, noting that the bureau has allegedly been examining the matter since spring without visible progress.<\/p>\n
The party has issued specific inquiries to the CBA regarding document security, the identity of individuals who verified the applications, and the legal basis for the decisions made.<\/p>\n
PiS MP Micha\u0142 Moskal stated that wherever Civic Coalition Secretary General Marcin Kierwi\u0144ski appears, scandals follow, accusing KO activists of corruptly stealing from ordinary, affected people in need of help.<\/p>\n
Moskal announced the launch of parliamentary controls at the Ministry of Interior and Administration to question what Marcin Kierwi\u0144ski\u2014who served as the plenipotentiary for solving the flood crisis\u2014did regarding support distribution and why funds were allocated to non-flooded areas.<\/p>\n
According to Wirtualna Polska, 4.5 million PLN in flood aid from the Karkonosze Regional Development Agency went to three companies in a single village: one belonging to the husband of KO deputy head Anna Konieczy\u0144ska, another to a neighbor, and a third to a local television owner. WP revealed that the submitted application documents lacked convincing photographic evidence of damages.<\/p>\n
Micha\u0142 Jaros, head of the Lower Silesian KO structures, stated that Konieczy\u0144ska has been suspended from party membership and faces a party tribunal.<\/p>\n
Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Bosacki commented on Radio ZET that the services have been clarifying the matter since April.<\/p>\n
