Mikroretencja, formerly known as Moja Woda, launched on June 1, 2026. This initiative encourages single-family homeowners to invest in systems designed to capture and reuse rainwater for domestic and garden purposes.<\/p>\n
Collected water can be used for irrigation, cleaning tools, washing cars, and flushing toilets. Beyond household utility, the program aims to protect the environment by mitigating drought effects and reducing the risk of local flooding during heavy rainfall. The project is backed by 173 million PLN from the FEnIKS 2021-2027 European funds.<\/p>\n
The program provides a 90% reimbursement of qualified costs, capped at 8,000 PLN. Support covers the purchase, delivery, installation, and construction of systems designed for rainwater retention and utilization.<\/p>\n
Funding is retroactive for completed projects, with costs incurred since July 1, 2024, remaining eligible for reimbursement. Applicants must submit invoices to prove expenses, provided they have not previously received funding from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management for the same purpose.<\/p>\n
Grants are available to single-family home owners, including those whose properties are under construction, provided the building is commissioned before the funding application is filed. Properties that previously received support from the Moja Woda program are excluded.<\/p>\n
It is strictly prohibited to use these subsidized installations for agricultural or business activities. All applications must be submitted through the regional Environmental Protection and Water Management Funds starting June 22, 2026.<\/p>\n
