In late May, police in Wodzis\u0142aw \u015al\u0105ski arrested a 30-year-old local resident following a raid on his residence and rental properties in the Wodzis\u0142aw and Rybnik counties. Officers confiscated over 200 kg of narcotics, including amphetamine, methamphetamine, 3-CMC (clephedrone), hexen, and thousands of pills, including potency boosters, valued at over 10 million PLN.<\/p>\n
Authorities also seized equipment used for drug distribution, such as computers, label printers, scanners, and electronic scales. According to police spokesperson Ma\u0142gorzata Koniarska, the substances have been sent for laboratory analysis to verify their composition.<\/p>\n
Investigators determined that the operation functioned through email and internet messaging, with drugs distributed via automated parcel lockers. A 30-year-old man was charged with possession and trafficking of significant quantities of narcotics as part of an organized criminal group; he has been remanded in custody for three months.<\/p>\n
Two women, aged 28 and 34, were also arrested for their roles in shipping the illegal goods. Despite the suspects’ attempts to avoid detection by using parcel lockers in small towns without CCTV, police successfully traced them using camera footage. All three suspects face up to 15 years in prison.<\/p>\n
On June 9, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CB\u015aP) arrested 11 individuals in Bydgoszcz suspected of trafficking significant amounts of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
