Confederation leader S\u0142awomir Mentzen has published his latest financial declaration, voluntarily disclosing assets held in his family foundation alongside his mandatory parliamentary filings to increase public transparency.<\/p>\n
The core of Mentzen\u2019s wealth lies within his family foundation, which holds over 1.31 million PLN in cash. Beyond liquid assets, the foundation possesses shares in Mentzen SA valued at nearly 26 million PLN and smaller holdings in Mex Polska SA.<\/p>\n
Family foundations have gained traction in Poland since 2023 as a tool for wealth protection and succession. This structure allows entrepreneurs to pass assets to future generations while maintaining business ownership.<\/p>\n
Cryptocurrencies remain a major component of the politician\u2019s private wealth, though their market value has fluctuated. Holdings previously valued at 13 million PLN have decreased to approximately 10.5 million PLN.<\/p>\n
Conversely, traditional savings have increased from 738,000 PLN to 901,000 PLN. Mentzen also maintains investments in the Rockbridge Active Bond 2 fund, valued at 5 million PLN, alongside stable holdings in foreign currencies.<\/p>\n
Mentzen\u2019s primary income stems from his business activities, which generated over 961,000 PLN in the analyzed period. Additionally, his Mentzen Legal firm contributed approximately 240,000 PLN to his income.<\/p>\n
Despite holding board and executive positions in four companies, Mentzen does not draw salaries from these roles. His parliamentary allowance has risen to nearly 9,500 PLN.<\/p>\n
The politician\u2019s real estate portfolio is significant, headlined by a 370-square-meter house valued at 3.7 million PLN. He also holds a 107-square-meter apartment and a 1,500-square-meter land plot, both of which have seen value increases.<\/p>\n
While he does not own the vehicles personally, Mentzen utilizes a Mercedes E-Class Coupe and a Volvo XC90. His declaration also details high-value interior furnishings and designer accessories.<\/p>\n
The declaration reveals a remaining mortgage balance of approximately 305,000 PLN with PKO BP and a 400,000 PLN loan taken from his own family foundation. Conversely, he acts as a creditor for individuals and legal entities, with outstanding loans totaling over 2.3 million PLN.<\/p>\n
Mentzen continues to hold a small amount of virtual currency in the game Fortnite, with his balance of V-Bucks currently valued at approximately 600 PLN.<\/p>\n
