Port Polska involves constructing a central airport between Warsaw and \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, paired with an extensive railway network. The program is budgeted at 131.7 billion PLN through 2032, with the airport projected to handle 34 million passengers annually upon opening.<\/p>\n
The company recently finalized proceedings before the National Appeals Chamber regarding terminal foundation work. Contracts for the installation of over 8,000 piles and ground reinforcement columns are moving forward, with construction slated to begin later this year and airport operations expected by 2032.<\/p>\n
New plans for an Integrated Railway Network, coordinated by Port Polska and PKP Polish Railway Lines, were unveiled recently. The proposal includes building 4,700 kilometers of new tracks, 2,700 kilometers of which will meet high-speed rail standards.<\/p>\n
Key planned segments include the “Y” line connecting Warsaw, the new airport, \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Pozna\u0144, and Wroc\u0142aw, as well as the Rail Baltica section and a link between Katowice and Ostrava.
