According to Zero.pl, the former head of the surgery department at Warsaw\u2019s South Hospital informed the facility’s board and supervisory council of his concerns regarding Dawid Kacprzyk as early as June of last year. In July, he escalated the matter to Mayor Rafa\u0142 Trzaskowski, initially via private message and later through official written correspondence.<\/p>\n
The surgeon’s letter stated that Kacprzyk, despite being only in his first year of residency, was effectively managing the Hospital Emergency Department (SOR). The report alleged that Kacprzyk performed unauthorized procedures without proper supervision, incited staff conflicts, and provoked patient complaints.<\/p>\n

Trzaskowski announced the appointment of a new supervisory council, noting that the previous board had dismissed the hospital’s management. During a press conference, he emphasized that external audits, including one conducted by the provincial governor in March, had not identified significant organizational problems at the SOR.<\/p>\n
The controversy surrounding 29-year-old Dawid Kacprzyk, a former KO councilor, surfaced after his financial disclosure revealed earnings of nearly 1.6 million PLN from medical services last year. While working as the SOR coordinator, Kacprzyk, still in his anesthesiology residency, faced allegations of providing services outside of standard queueing procedures for political figures.<\/p>\n
Following the media reports, Kacprzyk resigned from his party membership and stepped down as a councilor. He has since been dismissed from the South Hospital, returned approximately 0.5 million PLN to the institution, and corrected several invoices.<\/p>\n
