A 72-year-old woman is in critical condition after being hit by an Iveco delivery truck while outside her Mercedes on the Salomea-Wolica route in Opacz-Kolonia near Pruszk\u00f3w on Wednesday. <\/p>\n
A dangerous traffic accident occurred at approximately 3:49 PM on the Salomea-Wolica route, near the Nowa Street viaduct in Opacz-Kolonia, Pruszk\u00f3w County. A 72-year-old woman was struck by a delivery vehicle.<\/p>\n
Preliminary findings indicate that the woman had been driving a Mercedes and pulled over into the emergency lane. After exiting her vehicle, she was struck by a passing Iveco delivery van.<\/p>\n
The victim suffered severe injuries and required resuscitation at the scene. Once her vital functions were restored, she was transported in critical condition by an Air Ambulance helicopter to a hospital in Warsaw.<\/p>\n
The driver of the Iveco was tested for alcohol and was found to be sober. Law enforcement is currently investigating the exact circumstances of the collision.
