Two men, both approximately 30 years old, ignored the swimming prohibition and jumped into the reservoir.<\/p>\n<h4>Emergency Rescue and Evacuation<\/h4>\n<p>While one man surfaced safely, the 32-year-old victim likely struck the bottom or a submerged object, resulting in a spinal injury. A 30-year-old witness managed to pull the man to the shore.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency services were dispatched immediately. Due to the severity of the victim&#8217;s condition, an Air Ambulance (LPR) helicopter, &#8220;Ratownik 19,&#8221; landed at the scene to transport the man to a hospital in Warsaw.<\/p>\n<h4>Hidden Hazards in Unsupervised Reservoirs<\/h4>\n<p>Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident, which occurred during the first heatwave of the season. Former gravel pits, clay pits, and other unsupervised waters often contain hidden dangers such as sudden drop-offs, submerged branches, stones, and discarded waste.<\/p>\n<p>Diving into unknown water carries a high risk of tragedy, including head trauma, spinal cord damage, loss of consciousness, or death.
