Artificial intelligence is increasingly impacting the labor market, reaching beyond simple, repetitive tasks to affect professions once deemed resistant to technological change. According to the Polish Economic Institute, nearly 3.7 million people are currently employed in the twenty professions most exposed to AI’s influence.<\/p>\n
Forecasts from the International Monetary Fund, cited by Personnel Service, suggest that within five to ten years, over 5.5 million people in Poland could lose their jobs to AI. Creative and service-oriented professions, including electricians, plumbers, artists, and chefs, remain relatively secure. These roles rely on manual skills and direct interpersonal contact, areas where machines currently function as tools rather than replacements.<\/p>\n
The World Economic Forum\u2019s “Future of Jobs 2023” report highlights that analytical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning are becoming the most critical professional competencies. While new roles will emerge, they will demand significantly higher qualifications and specialized expertise.<\/p>\n
Experts emphasize that the current educational system in Poland is not sufficiently preparing students for these realities. Developing analytical and creative thinking, as well as AI literacy, must become an integral part of school curricula to ensure future success for both employees and organizations.<\/p>\n
