The current regulations date back to 2011, when most OFE formalities required written forms. Following legislative changes in September 2025 that enabled digital communication for fund membership, this new decree aligns executive regulations with existing law.<\/p>\n
The updated rules facilitate online membership agreements for both new and current members. Individuals will be able to confirm receipt of fund information, submit marriage property data, and report changes to personal identification details electronically.<\/p>\n
Under the new rules, documents may be submitted in three ways: traditional written form, electronic form, or as a document file, provided both digital options allow for the content to be stored on a permanent medium. Paper documentation will remain an option, but electronic contact is now formally integrated.<\/p>\n
Data from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (UKNF) indicates that there are over 14.1 million OFE members across eight active funds. These changes aim to accelerate information exchange and reduce the need for physical paperwork.
