The Council of Ministers has adopted a regulation broadening the scope of public registers accessible via the mObywatel application. This change allows users to electronically provide support for candidates in presidential, parliamentary, and European elections, while providing election proxies with direct access to committee data.<\/p>\n
The Ministry of Digital Affairs stated that the update addresses growing user needs, noting that the user base has doubled to 12 million people over the last 2.5 years. The functionality to collect digital signatures will be activated immediately upon the official announcement of elections.<\/p>\n
The new regulation introduces the mDyplomy service, allowing graduates to present university diplomas and supplements directly through the application. This feature extends to doctoral and habilitation diplomas.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, professionals such as property appraisers, surveyors, cartographers, and paramedics will be able to store digital proof of their professional licenses within the app.<\/p>\n
A new feature for drivers will provide visibility into potential driving bans and the status of probationary periods. Additionally, the Land and Mortgage Register service will now display basic property address details retrieved from the Central Database of Land and Mortgage Registers.<\/p>\n
Individual services are scheduled to be implemented gradually.<\/p>\n
