On June 12, the Polish General Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit with the District Court in Gda\u0144sk regarding a property on Batory Street. Poland is seeking the recovery of the facility formerly occupied by a Russian consulate, as Russian representatives failed to vacate the premises by the December 2025 deadline.<\/p>\n

The Belweder Palace is deeply ingrained in Polish history, having served as a residence for J\u00f3zef Pi\u0142sudski, Gabriel Narutowicz, and Stanis\u0142aw Wojciechowski after Poland regained independence. Following 1989, it was used by Wojciech Jaruzelski and Lech Wa\u0142\u0119sa.<\/p>\n
