A 33-year-old man from the Baboszewo commune faces five years in prison after crashing his car while intoxicated and violating two lifetime court-ordered driving bans last Thursday. <\/p>\n
On Thursday, June 25, around 6:30 p.m., P\u0142o\u0144sk police were called to Cieszkowo Stare in the Baboszewo municipality regarding a rolled-over Seat. Witnesses reported that the driver had fled the scene into nearby cornfields immediately after the crash.<\/p>\n
Officers arrived to find the car on its roof. The driver was apprehended minutes later as he emerged from the crops with a bloodied face and hand injuries. He was identified by a witness who had seen him operating the vehicle moments before the accident.<\/p>\n
The 33-year-old suspect displayed clear signs of intoxication, including poor balance and a strong smell of alcohol. A breathalyzer test confirmed his blood alcohol level was over 2.8 per mille.<\/p>\n
