A new United Surveys by IBRiS poll reveals that the governing coalition and the Left fall short of a parliamentary majority, with the right-wing parties holding the potential balance of power. <\/p>\n
Koalicja Obywatelska leads with 29.5 percent support, a slight decrease of 0.5 percentage points from the previous mid-June survey. Prawo i Sprawiedliwo\u015b\u0107 follows with 24.2 percent, marking a marginal increase of 0.1 percentage points.<\/p>\n
Confederation secured 10.7 percent, while Grzegorz Braun’s Confederation of the Polish Crown reached 10.1 percent. The Left is the only other group crossing the threshold with 7.8 percent. Other parties, including PSL, Partia Razem, and Polska 2050, remain below the entry requirements.<\/p>\n
Projections based on the poll indicate that Koalicja Obywatelska would secure 165 seats, while PiS would take 135. The two Confederation factions would hold a combined 113 mandates, and the Left would control 47.<\/p>\n
Current data suggests that a coalition between Koalicja Obywatelska and the Left would total 212 seats, failing to reach the 231-seat majority. While a mathematical majority of 248 seats exists for a coalition of PiS and both Confederation factions, Jaros\u0142aw Kaczy\u0144ski has previously dismissed the possibility of an alliance with Braun\u2019s party.<\/p>\n
A separate IBRiS poll conducted for Polsat News at the end of June shows similar trends. In that study, Koalicja Obywatelska received 28 percent, followed by PiS with 24.1 percent.<\/p>\n
