On June 26, 2026, ZUS released the new version of the contribution holiday application, known as RWS 3.0. The form includes a new mandatory field in the de minimis aid section where entrepreneurs must declare whether they are using the PKD 2007 or 2025 activity code.<\/p>\n
The contribution holiday allows business owners to reduce operating costs while maintaining social security continuity and preserving future pension rights. The state budget covers pension, disability, and accident insurance premiums, as well as contributions to the Labor Fund and Solidarity Fund.<\/p>\n
This relief does not cover health insurance premiums or contributions paid on behalf of employees. Entrepreneurs can claim this exemption for one chosen month per year, provided they submit the application in the month preceding the desired period of relief.<\/p>\n
Since November 2024, ZUS has received over 3.28 million applications, with 99.8% already processed. To date, the total value of approved exemptions exceeds 4.26 billion PLN. The program shows peak demand during winter and summer months, reflecting seasonal business interests.<\/p>\n
In the first half of 2026, ZUS received over 500,000 applications. Of these, 96.7% of processed cases resulted in full exemptions, totaling approximately 738.8 million PLN in relief granted during that six-month period.<\/p>\n
