Following the validation of an arrest warrant against former Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro, Deputy Justice Minister Arkadiusz Myrcha signaled that the government is moving toward an international extradition process.<\/p>\n

This case is a central component of the broader investigation into the management of the Justice Fund during the PiS administration. Prosecutors accuse Ziobro of 26 offenses, including directing an organized criminal group and abusing his office to facilitate illegal activities.<\/p>\n
Investigators allege that the former minister ordered subordinates to break the law to ensure grants for specific entities, manipulated tender processes, and authorized funds for ineligible recipients. Ziobro maintains his innocence, claiming he is the victim of a political witch hunt.<\/p>\n
