Poland 2050 lawmaker Michał Kobosko criticizes party leader Hołownia’s inconsistency, denies conspiring with Prime Minister Tusk.
Hołownia’s Colleague: Leaders Must Be Consistent
Michał Kobosko, a Poland 2050 lawmaker, stated on RMF FM that while he understands the personal challenges faced by party leader Szymon Hołownia, political leaders must demonstrate consistency, determination and stability of views.
Kobosko noted Hołownia went through a difficult year including his presidential campaign, a night meeting with Adam Bielan, and statements about a supposed “coup” in Poland.
Changing Positions a Source of Problems
Kobosko identified changing positions by Hołownia as one of the party’s problems, specifically regarding his candidacy for party leadership.
He pointed out that Hołownia initially decided not to run in December, then later suggested he might reconsider if elections were to start over, emphasizing that while everyone can change their mind, political leaders must be consistent.
No Conspiracy with Prime Minister
Addressing questions about a meeting with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Kobosko stated: “I did not conspire with the prime minister.”
He explained that at Tusk’s invitation in early December, they discussed international affairs and Poland 2050, adding that it’s natural for a prime minister to meet with potential coalition partners.
Confusion in Hołownia’s Party
Reports indicate there is confusion within Hołownia’s party, with the ABW having been notified of developments.
