Poland 2050 Split: Former Members Accuse Leadership Takeover

Poland 2050 divided as former members claim leadership takeover, while new chairwoman defends democratic election process.

Internal Takeover Process

According to a former member of Poland 2050’s leadership, the party’s evolution was not natural but rather a consistent process of taking over influence. DGP interlocutors emphasize that the “internal change of the decision-making center” began long before the formal election of the new chairwoman.

Democratic Elections Rejected

Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, the new leadership, rejects these interpretations. She stated that democratic elections were held, with some people clearly expecting different results. All members declared they would accept the election outcomes, but when the results didn’t match expectations, they failed to bear responsibility for democracy, according to her comments to Radio Zet.
