The action is preventive, aimed at securing air space, especially in areas near threatened zones, and the command remains monitoring the situation and ready for immediate response.

Russia Launches Massive Attacks Across Ukraine

Ukrainian agencies report that Russian forces are conducting air raids nationwide with missiles and assault drones, which have already caused widespread damage and casualties.

The Ministry of Energy states Russia is targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure, leading to emergency power cuts in most regions; repair crews will restore supply when feasible.

In Zaporizhzhia, at least 11 people died, including six children aged 3 to 6, as Russian missiles struck a dormitory.

Air Defense Alerts Hit Kiev and Western Ukraine

The Air Force and District Military Administration warned residents of Bukovyna and Zakarpattia about rockets fired toward the west.

The Kiev District Military Administration reported drone attacks on settlements in the Kiev region, injuring a 36‑year‑old woman with facial and arm burns and a forearm cut, who was taken to hospital.
