Donald Tusk’s Statement on Poland in Trump’s Ukraine Plan

On Friday, November 21, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk posted on social media that “Decisions concerning Poland will be made by Poles. Nothing about us without us. In matters of peace, all negotiations should be conducted with the participation of Ukraine.”

28‑Point U.S. Peace Plan Unveiled

The 28‑point plan, reported by Axios, was developed by Americans and includes recognition of Donbas and Crimea as Russian territory, limits on the size of the Ukrainian army, and a pledge that Kyiv will not seek NATO membership. One point addresses Poland, calling for the stationing of European fighter aircraft there.

Zelensky and Russia React to the Plan

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said he expects a conversation with President Trump in the coming days and that his country needs a peace that will not be interrupted by a third invasion. He stressed that a worthy peace must respect Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and dignity. Russian officials, via Dmitry Peskov, noted that Russia has not yet been informed of Zelensky’s agreement to negotiate and that no formal signal has been provided by Kyiv, so the topic remains unreal until official information arrives.
