Poland Hosts Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi for Diplomatic Talks

During their meeting, President Nawrocki acknowledged the “enormous sacrifices and contributions” China made in the anti-Japanese war, emphasizing the historical ties between the two nations.

Ukrainian War and EU Relations

Wang Yi highlighted the need for an “objective and rational understanding” of China within the European Union, while also speaking about Warsaw’s anticipated role in promoting China’s perspective on the Ukrainian crisis.

Preceding Meetings

Before meeting with the Polish President, Wang Yi had discussions with Deputy Prime Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in the representation center of Poland’s Ministry of National Defense in Hęcław.

Upcoming Visits

Following his meetings in Poland, President Nawrocki is set to visit Berlin to discuss reparations with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on September 16th, as well as visit Paris to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.
