The Radio ZET report cited journalist Mariusz Gierszewski and Newsweek’s Dominika Długosz, who confirmed that the investigation into the rail sabotage involves “the largest number of engaged services, experts, and officers” in Polish history.

Polish officials requested data from the U.S. NSA’s Echelon network and asked for assistance from Europol and Interpol, citing the NSA’s capability to collect and analyze global electromagnetic transmissions.
Wide Array of Technical Experts
Experts from mechanical engineering and pyrotechnics at the Military Technical Institute of Armaments and the Military Academy of Technology have been involved, among others.
Surveillance and Fingerprint Collection
Investigators have reviewed CCTV footage from gas stations, shops, and private properties within a 10‑km radius of the incident and gathered hundreds of track‑side fingerprints.
Special Unit Under Waldemar Żurek
Żurek announced a dedicated investigation team comprising CBŚP, ABW officers and prosecutors from the Masovian Local District Prosecutor’s Office, claiming the sabotage was ordered by Russian special services and that the culprits, two Ukrainian nationals, fled to Belarus.
