Poland’s Local Content Definition: Can Polish Companies Profit from the Transformation?

Poland is defining ‘local content’ to reduce geopolitical influence in state-invested projects by October 2025.

Ministry Team Working on Local Content Definition

Since October 2025, a team at the Ministry of State Assets has been developing the domestic component for key investment processes. Deputy Minister Eliza Zeidler identifies defining “local content” as the most challenging task, though essential for reducing geopolitical influence.

Industrial Development Agency Coordinates Definition Efforts

The Industrial Development Agency (ARP) now coordinates the domestic component efforts. According to ARP Vice-President Ilona Deręgowska, two types of definitions are being developed: legislative and calculation-based, both crucial for implementing the local content policy.
