Polish students at Warsaw’s Michał Konarski School now train with a virtual laser shooting range, the latest facility added under the national “Shooting Range in the County 2025” program.
Virtual Range Added for Military‑School Students
Students in military classes at the Michał Konarski School Complex in Wola now have a laser‑based virtual shooting range, created under the national “Shooting Range in the County 2025” program. The facility allows safe practice of marksmanship and basic tactics in realistic conditions, strengthening youth preparation for uniformed service.
Operates Within LXXXVIII Liceum Ogólnokształcące
The range functions in the LXXXVIII Liceum Ogólnokształcące, financed through the government’s program, giving students hands‑on training with laser‑equipped weapon replicas.
Inauguration Held on December 15, 2025
The opening ceremony took place on 15 December 2025, attended by city officials, police, and army gendarmerie, highlighting the school’s long‑standing collaboration with security formations.
Laser‑Based Training System Features
Students use weapon replicas fitted with lasers; shots hit targets displayed on a screen, allowing practice from multiple stances, multiple difficulty scenarios, and simultaneous instruction of four pupils in a safe environment.
Primary Users: Police and Military Students
The range serves chiefly students in police and military tracks, for whom safe firearm handling and basic tactics are core curriculum elements, and also supports wider defensive education for youth through regular, controlled training.
Integrated into Warsaw’s Defensive Education Network
The Wola range joins a network of similar facilities across Warsaw’s secondary schools built through the “Shooting Range in the County 2025” program, expanding the city’s modern pro‑defensive training infrastructure.
